Ingram Funeral Home

Paul Ingram,
Owner & Funeral Director
Licensee-in-Charge
Office Phone: 304-684-2431

Paul Ingram, the present owner of Ingram Funeral Home, is continuing the service, professionalism and caring that was the foundation to the business when it was established by Charles Ruttencutter in 1923. Prior to opening the funeral home, Charles operated the St. Marys Ferry, the St. Marys Milling Company, and had been the Sheriff of Pleasants County. He was succeeded in the business by his son, Charles A. "Junkie". He, with wife Kathleen, operated the funeral home until his untimely death in an accident in 1965. Harvey Hatfield then owned the business until he retired in 1992.

Paul's lifelong dream from the age of 12 was fulfilled in 1992, when, following in the footsteps of "Junkie", he became the owner of Ruttencutter Funeral Home. Paul, the son of L.P and Cordie Ingram, was raised in St. Marys and graduated from St. Marys High School in 1968, where he excelled in football, basketball and track. He attended WV Institute of Technology and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1972.

The funeral home is still located at its original location at 512 Second Street.
