Sherryl Arlene Gould, 68, of Vienna, WV, passed away January 17, 2010, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born August 4, 1941, in Akron, OH, a daughter of Deloris Jean Morris Boggs of St. Marys, WV and the late William “Sherd” Delong. She had worked for the past 24 years at Sancho Oil and Gas in St. Marys and she attended the New Hope Baptist Church in Vienna, WV. Sherryl was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by three children, Jeff Lowther and his wife, Drema, of Parkersburg, WV, Tina Wilson of St. Marys, WV, Jeff “J.D.” Stanley of Belpre, OH, one step-son, Rusty Gould and his wife, Megan, of Orlando, FL, five grandchildren, Ashley Hackathorn, Ryan Navratil, Tessa Wilson, Trent Stanley, Lindsey Stanley, three great-grandchildren, her mother, Deloris Boggs and her husband, Arthur, of St. Marys, one brother, Butch Delong and his wife, Johanna, of Parkersburg, WV, one sister, D Simon of Jupiter, FL, one nephew, Jason Delong, and one niece, Tori Gainer. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one step-son, Dale Gould, and one brother, James William Delong.
Services will be held Friday, January 22, 2010, at 1 P. M. at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Evangelist Bob Long officiating. Interment will be in the Willow Island Cemetery, Willow Island, WV. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P. M. Thursday and from 12 Noon to 1 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.
