John F. “Johnny” McGee, 46, of St. Marys, WV, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2010 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. He was born December 19, 1963, in Marietta, OH, a son of the late Donald McGee and Linda Woodby. Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by the love of his life, Diane Snodgrass, two daughters, Brandi (Mitchel) Dawson, Cassie McGee, step-children, Isaac (Robin) Snodgrass, Carl (Kayla) Dearth, Amy (Bob) Fox, brothers, Scott (Kandi) McGee, James (Jackie) Woodby, sisters, Priscilla (Bill) Walker, Jammie (Kevin) Berish, Martha (Russell) Maston, grandmother Kate Anderson, several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friends, Sam, Lance, Roger, Audrey, and Teresa. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved step-father who raised Johnny from a young age, James “Dick” Woodby, Grandpa Lankford, Grandma and Grandpa McGee, and one niece, Ashley Beal.

Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010, at 11 A. M. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor Jimmy Taylor officiating. It was Johnny's wishes to be cremated. Calling hours will be from 9 A. M. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Johnny’s name to the Pleasants Community Foundation, 309 Second Street, St. Marys, WV 26170.
