Biography

Goldie Marie Elder, 93, of Belmont, WV formerly of St. Marys, WV, passed away March 5, 2010, at CareHaven of Pleasants in Belmont, WV. She was born, July 8, 1916, in Pleasants County, WV, a daughter of the late John and Laura Bailey Boley.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett Dailey, second husband, Floyd Elder, and brothers, Everett, Raymond, Lenoard, Thomas, Walter, Herman, Perry and Richard Boley.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 11 A. M. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor Randy Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Pleasants County, WV. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P. M. Monday, and from 10 to 11 A. M. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Carol Vannoy, Dr. Byler, and the staff at CareHaven for all their care and compassion.
