Biography

Ollie Welling Williamson, 96, of St. Marys, WV, Bens Run Community, died, March 8, 2010, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born, January 10, 1914, in Wetzel County, WV, a daughter of the late William Patrick and Ida Mae Rubel Welling. She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Church of Christ, a 1933 graduate of Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, WV, was retired from U. S. Postal Service as an assistant Postmistress, and was an avid bowler.

She is survived by her children, Donna Smith of Seville, OH, Bill Williamson of St. Marys, WV, and Keith Williamson of Paden City, WV, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and some nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard B. Williamson, three sisters, Mae Littman, Atha Wells, and Mary Welling.

Services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 2 P. M. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with John Keith officiating. Interment will be in the Long Reach Cemetery, Tyler County, WV. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P. M. Wednesday and from 1 to 2 P. M. Thursday at the funeral home.
