BiographyHarry Leo Sigler, 92, of Schultz Community, Pleasants County, WV, passed away, March 28, 2012, at his residence. He was born, November 26, 1919, at Schultz, a son of the late Harry Leo, Sr. and Cassie Morrell Sigler. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, and was a member of the St. Marys Lodge #41 A. F. & A. M. He was a graduate of St. Marys High School and had attended Furman University for 2 years. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, where he received the Bronze Star in Germany, and he also served in the U. S. Air Force. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He had worked in the oilfields, where he had been a drilling supervisor. He had been employed by Pleasants County Schools as a bus driver. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting, and fishing.
