Paul and Becky Ingram
Paul Ingram, the
present owner of Ingram Funeral Home, is continuing the service, professionalism
and caring that was the foundation to the business when it was established
by Charles Ruttencutter in 1923. Prior to opening the funeral home, Charles
operated the St. Marys Ferry, the St. Marys Milling Company, and had been
the Sheriff of Pleasants County. He was succeeded in the business by his
son, Charles A. "Junkie". He, with wife Kathleen, operated the
funeral home until his untimely death in an accident in 1965. Harvey Hatfield
then owned the business until he retired in 1992.
